Cut the quantity not the craving








Finally satisfied my yam craving last night. See that piece of yam at the bottom ? That's 100g ( 118 calories & approx 2 carb servings). How much yam do you typically eat?

Way back, I could eat 4-5 pieces no problem! It's natural right?  Add fried egg with corned beef or sardine to that and you are looking at almost 1000 calories just for one meal .
My plate there is about 400 calories! Sincerely, the best way to have your egg sauce is to beat it up with vegetables when preparing, e.g.  bell pepper, cabbages, carrot which all contain vitamins and natural fibers which protect your body against free radicals and aid digestion respectively to reduce bloating.  Don't cut out the things you love, make them less. stay with us & learn ways to eat smart on a Nigerian diet.
